It could possibly be standardised via the International Pole Sports Federation as they are working to unify pole as a sport. Using common names in pole as a starting point.

I think universal pole names are great for education purposes if you’re looking for material especially for pole beginners. However, I do think they can co-exist with unique terminology developed in different cultures and is very important in showing diversity.
Therefore when people are posting tutorials etc then it would be great if they include the standardised name as well as what it’s called within their community. So that everyone has the opportunity to see and find it.
