Superman

Superman intermediate pole dance tutorial

ADDITIONAL INFO

This lesson has been updated by @CL_Pole_Dancer

This fundamental pole move requires good shoulder flexibility and some lower back arch.  It will definitely burn your upper inner thighs when you are first learning it.  Be patient – it takes time to find the position that provides the proper amount of push-pull between your arm and your thighs/butt.  Entering from a Jasmine is the most common way to enter the pose, although Flat Line Scorpio, Apprentice and Tabletop also work.  Superman is very versatile in that you can change the look of the pose by bending one or both legs, scissoring the legs, and/or grabbing the pole with both hands behind your back.  Occasionally you will see the move called Superwoman.
